Since February 28(?), when you really helped me through the WTF moment of bombing Iran, I have been wondering how the line up that occurred then is changing and what that might bode. The Lego videos are wondrous to behold: AI, Legos, serious political commentary , yet easy to understand. Even though it's "new tech", AI, it's an old, old mindset ( Persian) that cleverly posts. Not so clever to post selfies of oneself as Jesus.
W Bush once posted a photo of himself with a halo, like a saint -- it was impossible to miss...his head in profile. This is old god-emperor bullshit and people still fall for it.
I also wish to credit Eric where credit is due: thanks again for Inner Light Inner Peace. I was listening to Scorpio because my moon is there and you remind me about Albion. So now Albion is opposite my moon! Ain’t that the shits? You need to write a book on QB1.
So now what would you think? The Billboard Charts give a “false” read for the potential audience for Street Fighting Man. But they also expose where the media is being manipulated.
While we might say that the Billboard Charts are just a “creature” of the media and therefore one of Eris’ tendrils, they still inform us of where Cointelpro felt threatened.
Consider this in the context of what we’ve been saying: Street Fighting Man only made it to #48 on the Billboard becuz it was banned in so many locations.
Hello again! I’m starting to enjoy this😎. Another example: My cell phone doesn’t work in the building where I work. Now you hear everybody think “OMG!” Get a different carrier get a different job! This is only annoying because I’m addicted to my phone. It is not a physical addiction. I have to leave the building so I can use my phone to cast a horary chart. Am I addicted to astrology? Yes. Again it is not a physical addiction.
I am going to continue to promote a positive side to Eris. Am I embodying the Eris archetype by continuing to bring this up? I take it the reference to the 15th century is to the last time Eris was in Aries. Her association with mass communication and thought is therefore well noted. Do we talk about the effects of print on our “bodies”? Do the McLuhans consider the effects of print on our “bodies”? No. Because the effects we are noticing are the results of mass communication and education. This is plenty scary. Think Orwell and the Matrix. However I don’t think focusing on what our cell phones might be doing to our body is the way to look at it. Also, for example, if I ask if you think it’s good that you can read and that libraries are a good thing, you will agree that you should thank Eris.
What makes you say that a new environment leads to increased communication or better understanding? Social media pulverized everyone and anything in its path or not in its path.
I actually think we agree. It is a matter of semantics that it seems otherwise. I appreciate I would need a master’s degree in media studies to keep up with you.
Postcards and letters somewhat circumvent the affects & effects of social media and AI. The handwriting is so soothing and always distinctly reflects the soul of the person writing. Plus, it's an epistle and a sacrament ( sacrament = " an outward and spiritual sign of an inward and spiritual grace" according to my confirmation lessons in 1962~ giggle). Plus both parties have touched the card or letter. Like a fortune teller feeling the vibes off a ring or bracelet. I can touch the vibes of the sender.
I really love the concept of a handwritten letter as a sacrament. As I read this I think of my own, nearly illegible handwriting and how relieved a few of my friends were when email came around that they didn't have to spend so much time deciphering my letters. I remember feeling vulnerable and exposed, that I couldn't hide anymore behind the poetic fog of my crazy handwriting and that somehow I had lost a certain level of mystique I depended on (Scorpio Moon applying to Neptune).
As digital has taken over our environments my handwriting has only become ever less legible. I wonder if this itself is a symptom of the fractured medium we inhabit?
