She ended up a trenchant supporter of RFK Jr, a VPAC hardliner (as is Wolf), espousing the idea that "we" drifted from God's commandments and are being punished for doing so, and an all-out Zionist backer of the Israeli genocide.
The transient nature of the "Sixties" was NOT the result of a Straussian generational shift, but of a state operation, the original COINTELPRO. Deliberate repression combined with cooptation of those who could be bought off, exhaustion, and an economic crackdown, making it very hard to survive outside the control system.
