A pattern is developing in Capricorn related to family, food and alcohol. It may push family crisis and food-related issues in society through much of the summer.
I love how your photos slowly make my mouth water! I am still reading, but Gemini energy has me interjecting. Ceres retrograde, for me, is often a pull away from the Earth. I love gardening, except, it seems, when Ceres is retrograde. Also, Capricorn is related to business and making money, and I'm feeling the retrograde their too! One thing I didn't consider is the mothering of business! It's true ;D I am having to redo things in that aspect as well! Thank you for your dedication to the asteroids, dwarf planets, and centaurs!
Hi from Siracusa Eric, I did some deep contemplation on this topic after you mentioned it again in your starcast for 5th Sept. My mother was the amoral person in our family and that has passed down to my sister. I think my mother watched her father being downtrodden by his father who was a very charismatic man. My grandfather, mum’s father, was much more reserved and dare I say sensitive, although that wasn’t a thing then. He was born on 2 Feb 2014. Despite being bullied by his father he had a strong moral compass which was derided by my grandmother and characterised as being inflexible. In many ways she kept us apart from him as much as she could whilst playing the role of dutiful wife. For instance we gathered in the kitchen or her sewing room as opposed to his sun room. Amazing what you remember.
By way of background my grandmother married him on the rebound after the man she was in love with didn’t have the courage to tell her he was becoming engaged to another young woman. She found out in the newspaper announcement.
Interestingly it is always this grandfather that is around me.
The Mother / daughter theme has been the epicenter of my year. I gave birth to a daughter at 44 years old this July in a pool at my home, with my sister and mother present.
They were supposed to arrive after the birth but baby Glo was late. It was a little stressful having extra people there but I recognize the healing that came for my mom, who endured 6 C-sections and was completely knocked out for my birth, to then witness her daughter have an unmedicated home birth.
Also, baby Glo is named after the matriarch of our family Grandma Glo (Gloria), who had all 5 of her children while completely knocked out by the "Twilight Sleep" method doctors would drug the women while strapped into beds to deliver their babies while asleep . Insane!
Also noteworthy of this topic- previously I have experienced infertility and challenges getting pregnant in 2014. This time around it happened in quite Sagittarius fashion, while on a spiritual retreat in Peru high on mesclun at the pre-Incan Temple of Fertility/ Moon with my Sagittarius husband we prayed for the blessing of getting pregnant and it just so happened to be on Friday the 13th of October (Friday the 13th it turns out is a day for the Divine Feminine).
And 3 weeks later I was pregnant!!
Also, we quit drinking alcohol a few years ago. It's bad juju. 👎

I am into good food and have the Tantric blessing of being able to do it well. if it were possible I would have a Planet Waves dinner once a week.

So, in short, I do resonate with these themes!
This is a great thought provoking article. Your picture of the reservoir is stunning.
